Из Ливии прекращен экспорт газа в Италию

2 марта близ газового комплекса Меллита в городе Зуварах начался бой между наемниками, охраняющим комплекс, и неизвестными вооруженными людьми.

Трубопровод, по которому ливийский газ перекачивается в Италию, получил повреждения. Министр энергетики Италии оповещен о прекращении поставок газа, которые играют важную роль в экономике страны.

В начале февраля Италия направила в Ливию подразделения спецназа «по просьбе ливийского правительства» для предотвращения «беспорядков», которых «новые ливийские власти» боялись 17 февраля, во вторую годовщину контрреволюционного мятежа в Ливийской Джамахирии.

По одной из информаций, нападение могли совершить боевики «Аль-Каиды», которым «ливийские власти» не выплатили деньги за их часть от «газового пирога».

Другой источник выдвигает гипотезу, что нападение совершил спецназ НАТО для того, чтобы поставить Европу перед угрозой полной остановки поставок ливийского газа на континент. Чтобы этого не произошло, сообщает источник, необходима ликвидация банд «Аль-Каиды», которые превратили Ливию в свою вотчину, и передача власти в стране в руки умеренных прозападных сил. Этот же источник сообщает, что во время боя спецназ принял меры, чтобы газопровод не был поврежден.

В нападении на консульство США в Ливии уже увидели почерк «Аль-Каиды»

Нападение на консульство США в Ливии, предположительно, было совершено людьми, связанными с террористической сетью «Аль-Каида». Об этом заявил глава разведывательного комитета в Палате представителей США Майк Роджерс.

В то же время представитель американских властей, пожелавший сохранить анонимность, также не исключил, что нападение на консульство было делом рук «Аль-Каиды», однако, подчеркнул, что это лишь одна из версий и она нуждается в проверке, сообщает Lenta.ru.

По его словам, нападение на консульство кажется тщательно спланированной и продуманной акцией, а не спонтанным актом агрессии. Он выразил мнение, что террористы лишь воспользовались протестными настроениями в Ливии как удобным моментом для совершения теракта.

Ранее «фрАза» сообщала, что в ливийском Бенгази в результате ракетного удара погиб посол США. Помимо него, были убиты еще трое сотрудников американских дипломатических структур. На сайте посольства уточняется, что дипломата звали Кристофер Стивенс. Имена и должности других погибших пока не указываются. Позже сообщалось, что за атакой на консульство США в Бенгази стоят сторонники свергнутого и убитого повстанцами в 2011 году ливийского диктатора Муамара Каддафи. Об этом заявил посол Ливии в Вашингтоне Али Ауджали.
