Svitlana M. - You thought I was a maid?

- Chamomile, chamomile, what color will you give me?
I hear I need blue.
Like the color of my eyes to float into the sky
and dive into the sea from the highlands.

I close the sea and the sky

May heaven give us more air in the heat
to cool my feelings in it.

My mother gave birth to me on the first of March,
when everyone is born fish,
and the fish took off in a pair of water,
the foremothers of the birds they were.

Of the blue daisies I am gossiping a wreath,
in it I will become the forest queen.
Then I'll call you to my kingdom.
To the hut ... Did you think I'm a maid?
